Thinking Of Buying A New Comp

So like the title says I'm looking into buying a new computer, and It's hard to decide on one.

I'm thinking about a $1600 price cap, maybe higher depending if the computer someone recommends is really that good. Pentium 4 or AMD(2.5ghz atleast), with windows. Preferably not dual core processors, I'm a little wary of really new technology like that, and I've heard stuttering from dual cores running high end games like WoW(but i'll take a look at dual core ones anyways). Maybe 1gb of ram as the minimum, hard drive size really isnt that important. And also a decent graphics card. I have a mouse and keyboard set already, really just looking for a good machine with monitor if possible. Computer packages with everything are good though.

Basically something that can run games like World of Warcraft pretty well. Yes I should have just said that


And I know of Alienware, falcon northwest, vicious, voodoo, and sites that like. Shipping time sucks though anyone know of anything good at that price that I can just pick up at some store?. Most likely a large chain department store since I live in LA.
